Dex Makeup Fall Trends for 2013: BEAUTY ROCKS. The New Smokey Eye

The smokey eye is seen here as being deconstructed with no rules to follow, just like Joan Jett the queen of ROCK herself. It's a very quick and simple look, yet at the same time very chic and understated. You can choose to either go heavy on the smokey effect by adding lots of color to the crease for depth and severely smudging the eyeliner from lower lash line down and slightly out towards the temple. Otherwise, tread lightly on the application of colors on lid and crease with a very soft smudge at lower lash line. This look is everything and more this season. Perfect for the a girl-on-the-go! Note: The deconstructed, no rules smokey eye is a big trend this season. Some you will see using just one deep eye shadow color.
